As Sigma Phi Epsilon

For over 90 years Sig Eps have been striving not only to better themselves, but to make Sigma Phi Epsilon the best fraternity in the nation. Since November 1901 over 200,000 leaders have walked through the red door, and have continued to national prominance. Every member of every chapter takes advantage of Sig Ep's leadership opportunities.

Since its begining Sigma Phi Epsilon has strived to help students be their best as scholars, leaders, gentlemen, and atheletes to provide them with the best opportunities for scholarship, and development, socially and personally. If you want more out of your college experience, join Sigma Phi Epsilon...The Experience of a Lifetime.

For the last 17 years, Sigma Phi Epsilon has initiated more men than any other fraternity in history, making it the strongest men's social organization today. Sigma Phi Epsilon has 15,000 undergraduates in over 269 chapters. Sig Ep has become the Number One chosen fraternity in America and shows no signs of slowing. Sig Ep strives to develop each member into becoming Balanced Men.

ACADEMICS

Sigma Phi Epsilon places high priority in providing a positive educational environment conductive to reaching academic goals. Sig Ep chapters are cosistantly recognized as earning the highest Grade Point Average of other fraternities on their respected campuses. Frequently, their average is higher than the all-male and even campus averages. Indiana Theta is no exception. We have been recognized by TSU's I.F.C. consistantly as having the highest G.P.A. of all other fraternities.

CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

Sigma Phi Epsilon offers each member the chance to be a leader. In fact, the structure of the fraternity is designed to mold men into leaders through offices such as Chapter President, Vice-President, Chaplin, or various committee positions. Outside the fraternity brothers are traditionally involved in campus activities. Sig Ep's are members and hold leadership positions. Indiana Theta sets the standard at Tri-State University in terms of leadership.

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

Tri-State University has more to offer than just an education in the classroom. Sig Ep understands that there is more to life than books. Therefore, we offer unique opportunities for social involvement.

Sig Ep offers many great social activities, including:

  • Sig Ep's Annual Sumo Party.
  • Sig Ep's Annual Spikefest. (Volleyball Tournament)
  • Sig Ep's Annual Family Day.
  • Non-Alcoholic Social functions such as; Taco Nights, Casino Nights, and Band Nights.
  • Taking part in many campus and community charity events.

Lifelong friends will be a central part of the collegiate experience. It is the brotherhood of Sigma Phi Epsilon which creates these friends. Brotherhood binds men with different backgrounds, ideas, and beliefs in to a single, strong, and cohesive unit. All of these qualities offer the highest quality of living anywhere and create a sense of community not learned anywhere else. Most importantly though, these qualities build personality, character, and balanced men who will be successful in the future.

SIG EP IS...

  • Developing a set of lifetime ideals with over 200,000 men nationally.
